National Insurance increase announced 8 Sept 2021

The government announced 1.25% increase in national insurance yesterday with effect from 6th April 2022.

This increase will also apply to unincorporated landlords from 6th April 2023, as all landlords will need to pay national insurance on their property income, if this exceeds £9,500,

This will increase the overall tax bill by minimum of £3,800, with some higher rate landlords facing additional tax of £10,290.
